Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs straight from refrigerator

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 270°F (or 275°F) for 2-3 minutes.*
  • Place eggs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-13 minutes for soft-boiled eggs and 15-16 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
  • While the eggs are cooking, prepare an ice bath. Load a large bowl with ice and then fill with water until it is ¾ full. Once eggs are done cooking, immediately immerse them in the ice water bath for 5-10 minutes, or until cool to the touch.
  • Peel the eggs by hitting the rounded bottom end of the egg on a hard surface and then rolling until it has cracks all over it. Be careful not to apply too much pressure when rolling so that you don’t break the egg. Begin peeling the egg at the rounded end. If you have difficulty, run it under cold running water while you peel to help loosen up the membrane. Repeat with the remaining eggs.

Notes

If your air fryer does not go below 300°F, simply set it to this temperature and cook eggs for 1-2 minutes less.
