Greek Salad Dressing Recipe
Knowing how to make your own Greek Salad Dressing is a quick and easy way to add loads of authentic flavor to dishes. This traditional recipe only needs olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, and oregano.
Servings: 6 servings
- ½ cup olive oil
- 3 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp. honey optional
- 1 clove garlic finely minced
- 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
- ¼ tsp. each of oregano parsley, and basil, dried
- ¼ tsp. salt to taste
- ⅛ tsp. black pepper to taste
Add all dressing ingredients to the cup of a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend for 10-20 seconds, or until emulsified.
Alternatively, place the ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and whisk for 30-60 seconds, or until well combined.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
- One serving equals 2 tablespoons of dressing.

- To Prep-Ahead: This dressing stores beautifully in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- To Store: Keep dressing in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
- To Freeze: The best way to freeze leftover salad dressing is in ice cube trays. Fill up each section and allow it to freeze for a couple of hours. Then, store the frozen cubes in a zip-top bag.
